Today theSpectacle launches Britain's first Science Prize-cum-puzzle competition open to scientists* and non-scientists alike.

Tougher than Sudoku, more fiendish than Kashi Original, can you be the first person to unify Newtonian principles with Quantum Mechanics to produce a grand theory of everything?

Don't worry if you know nothing about Quantum Physics, just follow our handy guide here.

For your chance to win £100 simply explain in not more than 100 words your theory of everything. Your theory must explain all observable physical phenomena or will be declared void. For the purposes of this competition solutions dependant on Thomas Campbell's consciousness-based theory are not allowed.

Rules
1) Employees of theSpectacle may not enter
2) Spiritual solutions that cannot be evidenced or repeated will be excluded
3) Any answers cribbed from His Dark Materials will be declared void
4) You must not suffocate cats in the quest for the solution

*To be fair to everyone, scientists must submit their answers without resulting to equations or imaginary numbers and use no more than eleven alternative universes to justify their claims
